Saturday, January 27, 2024, 4:00 pm
Garden Room, El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane
El Cerrito Trail Trekkers came together at the annual meeting and learned about the Value of Trees in a Changing Climate at the El Cerrito Trail Trekkers’ annual meeting. Speaker David Ackerly is a distinguished professor and dean of UC Berkeley’s Rausser College of Natural Resources, as well as a former El Cerrito resident who regularly hikes local trails.
The talk followed Trekkers’ brief annual meeting, where we reviewed our goals, accomplishments, and finances, honored Susan Schwartz of Friends of Five Creeks and a longtime environmental hero, and elected officers.
