The El Cerrito and WorldOne 4th of July Festival at Cerrito Vista Park has grown into a popular community tradition of music, meals and merriment, with over one hundred booths featuring local organizations and vendors. We were delighted to take part and hope you had a chance to visit our booth on the field. We enjoyed seeing old friends, welcoming new members, and discussing our latest activities:
- Upcoming hikes on the Ohlone Greenway and among North Berkeley's rock formations.
- Contributions to the Hillside Natural Area Fire Resilience and Forest Conservation Management Plan
- Work parties to remove invasive species
- Trail building
- And more!

GO GREEN! Mobility Fair
Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11 am - 3 pm, El Cerrito Plaza BART Station (northeast parking lot)
Visit Trail Trekkers at the GO GREEN! Mobility Fair. Celebrate Earth Month at the Fair and discover resources to reduce your carbon footprint. In the Bay Area, transportation makes up half of our cities’ greenhouse gas emissions. By switching even a few car trips per week to other ways of getting around, we can all make a huge difference in reducing our contribution to global warming, and help El Cerrito meet the greenhouse gas reduction goals of the City’s
Climate Action & Adaptation Plan.
At the Fair you can:
- Test ride e-bikes
- Check out innovative and discounted mobility options
- Learn about getting to exciting destinations without a car
- Discover plans for development at El Cerrito Plaza and North Berkeley BART
- Enjoy music, food, fun and games for all ages

GRIP Harmony Walk

Come see Trail Trekkers at the 38th annual GRIP Harmony walk, a community-based event at Nicholl Park in Richmond that connects the community and benefits GRIP, the Greater Richmond Interfaith Program.
